Some dreams take root early. For Master Joon Kim, it started at age 12 - a quiet but unshakable conviction that one day, he would have a school of his own. Not just a place to teach techniques, but a place where lives would genuinely change.

Taekwondo gave him more than he anticipated. It gave him his purpose. And then it gave him his family. He met his wife, Nadya, through the very journey he loved most. When they opened Dae Han Martial Arts Center together in 2006, they poured everything into it.

Over the years, more and more students with autism began walking through the doors - many guided by parents who had already been turned away everywhere else. That question became our mission: if we could do this for one family, how many more are out there still waiting for someone to say yes?

In 2019, Master Joon Kim partnered with Ms. Jenny Lee of SocialPlay Group to give martial arts instructors across the country the tools, training, and confidence to serve students with autism by design - not by chance.

The result is Injoy Education Inc. Our certification program bridges the structure and values of martial arts with evidence-based ABA principles, social communication strategies, and sensory-informed teaching - built for real martial arts school, real instructors, and real students.

Today, our goal is simple: reach every martial arts instructor in the United States and help them open their doors - and keep them open - for students with autism. Because every child deserves a place to belong.
